Young Rembrandts is a franchise business concept that brings art education and instruction to children ages 3-12. Young Rembrandts art classes are run as an after-school program through elementary, preschools, park districts and now in Michaels Craft Stores in over 80 markets across the US and Canada, and expanding internationally.

Using a combination of stakeholder surveys, consumer insight, keyword and web traffic analytics, and technical development best practices, SimplifiedSolutions created strategic roadmap to guide the building of new website for Young Rembrandts. With a focus on a stronger consumer proposition, enhanced user experience and a powerful new administrative control panel (built on the popular Umbraco CMS platform), the new website has improved Young Rembrandt’s ability to manage the ecommerce side of their business more effectively and efficiently.

YoungRembrandts.com features new streamlined enrollment process makes it easier for prospective students to find local classes through a navigational friendly interface. A simple and customized dashboard using .NET and HTML 5 allows Young Rembrandts administrators to update and manage class signup and registration using a more efficient process.

A custom API was written to capture leads and Constant Contact sign-ups for the 80 franchisees as well as the parent organization, to launch an email marketing nurture campaign. SEO-rich micro-websites for each franchisee allows for local management while keeping brand messages intact.  The CMS system also enables the client to efficiently manage banner ad management and create custom landing pages with unique offers.  A separate new blog marketing website was developed to link to the website and promote thought leadership within the art education space. The website was fully optimized with a SEO keyword strategy to improve Young Rembrandts search rankings and increase website traffic.  To measure performance and ROI, enhanced analytics with goal setting was added to the website.

John Marshall Law School – A Marketing Plan for Distance Education

Background

John Marshall Law School, a nationally ranked law school located in downtown Chicago,  joined the online education boom by offering three advanced law courses via the web.

Challenge

Create awareness and increase enrollment for the law school’s online courses.

Solution

Ten East Delaware is one of the premier new property developments in Chicago’s Gold Coast. We designed a Google Adwords campaign to optimize web traffic during the high volume spring selling season. The sponsored text ads average 600 new visits, or three times the normal traffic, and substantially increase calls to the sales center.

Bridgeview Bank – Building Loyalty with Email Marketing

Background

Bridgeview Bank operates over 15 full-service banking facilities around the region and is actively involved in the communities they serve.

Challenge

To leverage a large database of 10,000 existing customers to promote new products, capture leads and build loyal relationships.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions created a measurable email marketing program which used email names to communicate informative community news, financial advice, and promote offers and new services. Using best practices, the old database was cleaned up, verified for opt-in, and segmented by location, demographics and interests. In order to maximize click through rates, new templates were designed and implemented. Metrics were used to identify leads by link categories to aid in local sales efforts.

Results

The email marketing campaign grew the list by 17%, leveraging old names and adding new ones. The email open rate is well above industry standards, ringing in at an impressive 25%. Additionally, 25% of all clicks were linked to specific offers, allowing Bridgeway Bank to increase their new customer offers. At the end of the day, Bridgeview Bank now values each name in the database at more than $10K.

AirportFriendly.com is the first website dedicated to “airport friendly” products that are designed specifically to make travel easier.

Challenge

To bring media attention to the brand new Airport Friendly website which had been launched late in the game, making it difficult to capitalize on the busy holiday season sales and buzz.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions released an online press release announcing the launch of the website. The press release was written to gain the attention of journalists looking for stories on the upcoming travel season. Additionally, landing pages were crafted to capture any possible media request that came about from the website.

Results

The press release was read 17,000 times and picked up 475 times by the media. Within 2 hours of the publication, Airport Friendly ranked number 4 on the first results page of Google for the term “airport friendly products”. 1,100 direct links to the website were established within 4 weeks. The owner of Airport Friendly was featured in the Washington Post and several television ads.
