Race Your Face Off, a viral marketing site by Quaker State, featured an interactive video game where consumers could download their picture, then race animated NASCAR legends Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson in a cross- country adventure The captured viral video could then be shared with friends via social media and email.

SimplifiedSolutions created a multi-ad Facebook campaign to drive a 600% increase in website traffic and over 1,300 conversions in two weeks. The viral video was passed to an average of 3 friends.

Muscle Milk, the protein-enhanced performance beverage, needed some social media support for local promotions with the Chicago Cubs and local high school football teams.

Bridgeview Bank – Building Loyalty with Email Marketing

Background

Bridgeview Bank operates over 15 full-service banking facilities around the region and is actively involved in the communities they serve.

Challenge

To leverage a large database of 10,000 existing customers to promote new products, capture leads and build loyal relationships.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions created a measurable email marketing program which used email names to communicate informative community news, financial advice, and promote offers and new services. Using best practices, the old database was cleaned up, verified for opt-in, and segmented by location, demographics and interests. In order to maximize click through rates, new templates were designed and implemented. Metrics were used to identify leads by link categories to aid in local sales efforts.

Results

The email marketing campaign grew the list by 17%, leveraging old names and adding new ones. The email open rate is well above industry standards, ringing in at an impressive 25%. Additionally, 25% of all clicks were linked to specific offers, allowing Bridgeway Bank to increase their new customer offers. At the end of the day, Bridgeview Bank now values each name in the database at more than $10K.

Airport Friendly – Boosting Awareness with Online PR Syndication

Background

AirportFriendly.com is the first website dedicated to “airport friendly” products that are designed specifically to make travel easier.

Challenge

To bring media attention to the brand new Airport Friendly website which had been launched late in the game, making it difficult to capitalize on the busy holiday season sales and buzz.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions released an online press release announcing the launch of the website. The press release was written to gain the attention of journalists looking for stories on the upcoming travel season. Additionally, landing pages were crafted to capture any possible media request that came about from the website.

Results

The press release was read 17,000 times and picked up 475 times by the media. Within 2 hours of the publication, Airport Friendly ranked number 4 on the first results page of Google for the term “airport friendly products”. 1,100 direct links to the website were established within 4 weeks. Simplified Solutions – Developing a Custom Membership Dues System

Background

The client owns a garage dedicated to bike parking. Commuters who ride their bike to work can join the garage as a member and secure a daily parking spot for their bikes.

Challenge

To do away with the previous system of manually charging members every month and develop an automated payment system that automatically delivers monthly membership dues.

Solution

Using the ASP.NET framework, SimplifiedSolutions built a system to manage the dues of the members.  Through the system, member fees are automatically billed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the customer.  The system allows members to go into their account and extend their membership.  Additionally, there is a portal that allows members to see previous payments, update their membership status or cancel all together.

Results

The new automation significantly reduced the amount of hours that were needed to run the membership facility.  Additionally, the cash flow is automated and streamlined.  There is now one central location to manage everything, and nothing is based on paper anymore.

Simplifed Solutions – Custom Integration of QuickBooks and Ecommerce

Background

An e-commerce provider of personalized gifts for all occasions.

Challenge

To update the accounting system so the current system, QuickBooks, would be able to communicate with the e-commerce website, merging two databases into one. Through this process, the necessity of having to manually type 1,000+ daily sales into QuickBooks would be eliminated.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions built a customized integration layer to streamline communications between QuickBooks and their e-commerce web application. Allowing any order that came through the website to automatically be recorded into QuickBooks.

Results

The entire process was automated, eliminating human error and allowing the company to assign the 2 full time employees who were updating the two databases to other jobs, resulting in cost savings. With the whole process streamlined, the numbers were more accurate, and there is now the power to access real time visibility in the accounting system, as they no longer have to wait until the orders are put into the system to access numbers.

Simplified Solutions – Custom Workforce Scheduling System Development

Background

A local cable company serving more than 1,500 communities throughout the country.

Challenge

To build a visual scheduling system that utilizes map-based scheduling to streamline the daily appointments for 1,000 technicians located across the nation.

Solution

SimplifiedSolutions used ASP.NET, Bing maps and Silverlight technologies to integrate a solution into the current application by customizing map views. Technicians are able to pinpoint each appointment for the day on the map and receive directions that sync with mobile devices. Each technician is able to click on an address, schedule a job, and using satellite calculated directions, receive a print out with their list of appointments for the day that include directions.

Results

The use of maps streamlined the work by providing a visual indicator that technicians used to plan ahead. Many dollars were saved in both time savings and gas savings.
